A helpful and friendly person. Came quickly to assess the problem, advised what was necessary and the job was done quickly and efficiently. The unit fitted to cure our condensation problem certainly does the trick. Highly recommended

Julian was extremely professional, arrived at the time he said he would, looked at the two issues we were having and gave sound advice. In our case he felt there was no longterm damp issue and that he would not recommend formal damp remedial work. Suspect other damp "experts" would have tried to convince us that work was needed so feel that he is honest and trustworthy.

Julian (Mostyn) was very helpful and he could see what our problem was straight away when he initially visited! A couple of weeks later (our fault that it took that long) we had a PIV unit put in, it didn't take him long and minimal disruption. We've had it a week and the mould we regularly have to clean off hasn't returned, which is exactly what he said would happen! It's a job we've been meaning to get sorted for ages and he made it very straightforward. Thanks!

As a new renovator of an old Victorian property in Bridlington, I found getting a reasonable quote for damproofing the most difficult. Having had two other extortionate quotes locally for the work needed doing, I turned to MYBUILDER in despair. Julian from Dovedale Dampcure contacted me after I posted the job and agreed to come and look at the property and give me a quote. Not only did he provide me with the most detailed of the surveys and solutions for the work required but the most cost effective and sensible quote. We agreed a start date. Julian was punctual,hardworking,friendly and approachable,nothing to much trouble and a pleasure to have around. He understood what I was trying to achieve with the property and had good advice and suggestions. He completed the work in the agreed time scale and went above and beyond my expectations, even arranging his plasterers to come back and do some extras for me. I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Julian to anyone requiring damp proofing. This guy is awesome! After posting my job I was contacted by this company, that I had not heard of before. An appointment was made to come and view the work. Julian turned up when he said he would, a very polite and friendly chap. I showed him the problem and he did a thorough inspection of the house, advising as he went along all the issues that were contributing to the problem. The job entailed replastering work in the lounge and the fitting of a piv system as recommended by Julian. This is a device that goes in the loft space and ventilates the property, eliminating condensation and the problems caused by it. I decided to hire this company as we needed the problem sorting quickly as we were in the middle of decorating. Julian was very accommodating and shuffled his jobs around so he could fit us in quickly. Julian again turned up on time and a day and a half later the job was complete. The workmanship by Julian and his plasterers was first class with the site left spotless on completion. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing damp roofing work.
