Matt did a fantastic job reprinting a very dilapidated back wall. He went above and beyond (even jet washing my decking) and did so in spite of some really shocking weather conditions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use him again. Fantastic.

Matt was a great stone mason. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, punctual and very good at his job. We hired him for refurbishment of stone work around our bay windows, and throughout the rest of the house. Everything looks fabulous now. We intend to use Matt again next year for various other projects and we can thoroughly recommend him.

Matt was excellent in the quality of his work and advice regarding restoration of the stone windows. We would recommend Matt to anyone who needs an old style traditional stonemason, he turns up on time doses a very good job and for the price that he has quoted. But remember the weather in this country can hold him back so try to book in nice weather, he will be in demand though but hold out he is very good. Definitely recommended.

Matt has carried out this job 'as a tradesman' i.e. he knows what he's doing & how to do it! (a quality sadly lacking in some so called 'tradesmen' today!) The job has also been carried out to the quoted & agreed price with no hidden extras. The other members of his team that came in when required were also very good so all in all I would not hesitate in recommending Avonstone to anyone who needs stonework restoration on their property.

Matt is personable, concientious and skilled, he did an excellent job renovating much of the bath stone around my house. He worked around the miserable weather conditions of the past month, kept to his estimate and has left the bath stone looking fab. I'd hire him again.

Matt replaced the broken section of parapet to match perfectly the profile of the existing Victorian parapet. Arrangements were smooth, he arrived on time, finished on time, was pleasant to talk with and the result was of high standard. I'd hire him again.
