John did the work for my aunty and uncle and they’re very pleased with everything. He was polite, courteous, and took the time to answer all their questions. He fitted a new cooker hood, replacing the old one, and cleaned out the existing ducting as well. He also helped coordinate the cooker installation and made sure the gas work was handled by a Gas Safe engineer. He said that if there were any issues after the installation, they could call him any time and he would be happy to sort it out. Overall, a really good job and they’re very happy with the result.

Do NOT trust this man to do a a good job & then take responsibility for his work. The job was on a rental property, everything was organised remotely & I never met him. The job was to level & clear the existing vegetation,& lay membrane and stones, which to any experienced landscaper would obviously include removing the roots to ensure nothing comes through the membrane once the job is completed. I asked him, directly to make it maintenance free. I paid him £800 for the job, initially I was pleased with the work & left positive feedback which I have since removed. I visited the job 3 months later & was shocked. There are Brambles coming up through the membrane & the stones that he put down is so thin in places you can see the membrane. I tried contacting, (phone,email,letter) him to discuss it but he did not respond until I went to his house and he just shut the door. I received a letter from him stating that as I did not specifically say the roots need to be removed, he is not responsible & will not make reparation unless I paid him, upfront to return to fix the problem. He also said that, persons have walked on the stone which would puncture the membrane and allow things to grow, which definitely was not the case. No one had walked on it at all & even if they had, that would not account for the Bramble shoots. As I said at the beginning, DO NOT ENTRUST this man with your property, he's as slippery as a fish. £800 wasted, thank you very much, Gareth.

We hired Jaye of a shortlist of 4 builders and he was able to respond to all of our questions and advise on the most cost effective way to secure the garage that had broken into 3 times over the last 2 years. In relation to Cost Jaye was on a par with one other builder who gave a similar quote. We had one that quoted double for the work. The work was completed to a high standard within the time frame agreed. Jaye actually went back to fit in the door which arrived two days late. We were very pleased with the outcome.
