After Retiring in 2023 from the civil service i rekindled my love of woodworking and fixing things buy setting up my own furniture , woodworking handman business based in Ely Cambridgeshire GB Woodworks and Handyman I initially trained as a cabinet maker and served a 4 year apprenticeship and then found an Interest in technical drawing later becoming a draughtsman for Nathan furniture and Parker Knoll furniture prior to joining the civil service Since retiring I have been working in primary schools around Cambridge and Norfolk completing general maintenance tasks along with projects of my own with clients making Jewlery box’s , pocke hole door , shelf fitting , furniture assembly , picture hanging , loft boarding and painting
