Due to the cost of the project, I went ahead with part of the project with DLC construction and instructed them to replace my old fence, gravel board and posts. We agreed on the price before the job and payment was made on completion. Lufti's Team did excellent job and he was very professional throughout the project and did very good tidying up job.

Character limit! Brendan and Chelsea built a 16m by 1.6m wall with 2.6m piers. They undertook all the work including digging out the foundation by hand - it was an awkward position being between the houses and 700mm higher my side. The replacement wall is wider. At the end of the job the patio slabs were cut and relayed. I infilled between the piers with oak boards. When cutting to size and fitting I was impressed how straight and consistent the brickwork is. Brendan fitted heavy duty gate posts flush with the wall so that I can build steel gates (too heavy for the house wall). The posts are dead vertical. - They always let me know what was going to happen beforehand. - They were onsite every day. - They were self-sufficient including their own toilet. - Brendan asked what I would like as the project progressed and usually suggested an approach. I never felt I should not question that and the approach would be changed accordingly. My neighbour is impressed with the end result.

After hiring Petru, it was very clear from the offset of the project that he was a very patient individual with high attention to detail and a good listener. As a individual who pays great attention to detail myself, it was very important to me that I received this same level of service from the person hired to work for me, I was not disappointed with Petru. He listened to all I had to say, answered all questions before and during the project and was not satisfied until I was more than 100% happy with the job that was done. After conversations with Petru it was a much better idea to replace the posts instead of correcting their vertical line as they were not straight along the entirety of the row of posts. He was so meticulous with the work that he also impressed my neighbors, so much so that 2 of them hired him for other works within their homes. This was also the same for me. I rehired Petru to build and complete a patio in the garden with a soak-away. Once again I was very impressed with his attention to detail and charisma whilst completing this project for us. He made sure at every step we were happy with his work and the way the Patio was being shaped and constructed. We only have good things to say about Petru as he went above and beyond my expectations. He worked rain or shine and always had a smile. I'm happy to say that he is my builder going forward for other jobs in the future and I am happy to personally recommend him to anyone else should they require it.
