We hired HMB Solar to relocate our air conditioning unit, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The unit was installed far too low — around 6 feet from the ground — and was visibly uneven (about 2cm lower on one side). When we raised these issues, the installer came to check the work in person, admitted there was a problem, and promised to return the following week to fix it. He never showed up. After that, he completely ignored all our calls and messages. The only time he responded was when we called him from a different number — and even then, he asked for more money to correct his own mistakes. We paid promptly and expected a professional job. Instead, we were left with substandard work, no accountability, and extremely poor communication. We don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews, but we feel others should be warned. Not recommended.

Imran was fantastic to deal with. He got in touch straight away and was happy to text when I couldn't speak on the phone at work. He laid out his pricing really clearly and didn't charge a call-out fee. He arrived bang on time and inspected the problem with my central heating. As it turned out, I didn't have any problems after all but he showed me why the heating had been clicking on and off so I'd be able to fix it myself in future. Imran didn't charge me as there was no problem for him to fix which is really amazing given he still gave up his time to come and have a look. He was polite, courteous and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. If I ever have boiler or plumbing issues in the future, i'll definitely call Imran.

Horrible experience. He said pcb needs replacement so i paid for pcb £185, then after putting pcb in, he said fan also needs fixing which would cost around £200. Even then he is unsure whether the boiler will work or not. Quite pathetic i thought. Told him to leave the job and send the pcb back for a refund. He said company wont take it back as it's been opened. He did not even give me the reciept for the pcb. He made one up himself and whatsapped it to me. It did not have the company's name. Called another gas engineer in and he said there was nothing wrong with the pcb or the fan. The new pcb is actually a refurbished pcb from a store in edmonton. It costs around £50. Called Thomas up and gave him an earful. Telling him this is not how one should run a business. He wont last long. Dodgy guy! please beware
