I wasn't sure as John didn't have any feedback on here. He provided me with a reference and then upon request happily provided a second. Both checked out totally fine. He was happy to answer many questions and clarify several times exactly what the job would be. When the parameters of the job changed (several times) he happily renegotiated. The work was done within the time and on the day that he agreed. My carpenter was pleased with the base so a job well done.

When Gary came over to look at the job to see what has involved, he told me it would just require to two men with rakes to re level, remove the roots and two ton of topsoil. The two men turned up on the day at the time he said. When I got home from work they had finished but when I inspected the job they hadn’t levelled the garden or dug out any of the small stumps just scattered the topsoil and spread the grass seed. I spoke with Gary told him what had happened. He then promised me he’d come back and sort the job out properly and he came back himself with another guy and rotavated half the garden and respread the grass seed. All looked well on the surface. I was happy with the job at first glance but on close inspection there were still stumps in the ground, weeds, rubbish and stones that hadn’t been removed. It looked like they had just been covered over. Now I have weeds growing all through the grass and the grass has grown patchy.

Richard and his team did a great job replacing the soil in our flower beds. We were given good advice about edging for the beds and the work was done neatly and in good time at the price quoted. They had to work hard to get the job done before the rain came and Richard came back after a few days of heavy rain to check the work and fit the metal edging. I would use them again.
