The initial quote that Adam gave after coming to see what we needed was very reasonable, so we agreed to continue with the work. This involved erecting a length of fencing with concrete posts and the laying of paving slabs as a shed base. He arrived a couple of days after and completed the work in a day. Adam's work is excellent and we are very pleased the end result. Would definitely recommend !!! thank you.

Simon at SS Masonry did a super job of repairing a wall on the pavement in Windermere that had been knocked down by a learner driver!! As this was work carried out for the Council quotes did have to be provided first but Simon got in touch about the job, was excellent at communicating and came when he said he would with his team and repaired the wall better than ever. Peter Woodruff submitted an estimate on 25 February to replace our fence, saying that it would be completed in 2 - 3 weeks. Three weeks later, having heard nothing from Woodvalegroundworks, we asked what the hold up was, and they replied that they were held up by wet weather, but it would be done in another 2 - 3 weeks. Once again the time passed and once again we heard nothing. I asked Peter Woodruff to complete the job this week as our neighbour's dogs are able to get into our garden, causing problems. He said that 'no he couldn't.' We are very disappointed at both the lack of honesty and communication from this firm. Peter Woodruff strung us along and wasted our time, rather than saying that he wasn't really interested in our job and had given it low priority (we only have a small garden, so not much fencing is needed). We have now hired someone else, and wish we had done so sooner. We would not recommend Woodvalegroundworks unless you like waiting indefinitely for a job to be done, and I would never hire them again.
