Lee converted our property from a 4-bedroom house into a 6-bedroom HMO, and he did an amazing job while keeping to the agreed 6-month timeline. Lee and his team delivered on every expectation at every stage of the project, which included a loft dormer conversion and a rear extension. They also completed six en-suite bathrooms, a new kitchen, a full rewire, plastering throughout, plumbing, joinery works, damp-proofing works, and installed new fire escape windows throughout the property. Gary and his team cut corners from the beginning. A job that was quoted to take 4-6 weeks ended up taking around 14 weeks and even then was not completed by gary and his team due to him walking off the job. They used substandard materials which meant things needed replaced before the job had even finished. Overall the “finishing touches” for the job were absolutely horrendous. A child’s playhouse had nails sticking out of the wood. The nails in the fence had all rusted, the lawn wasn’t laid correct so couldn’t drain. The level on extension was completely wrong. Gary himself was quite rude and Him and his team were extremely unreliable. 100% would not recommend, save your time, money and sanity

Liam provided expert advice on stone selection and finish, liaised with stone supplier on sizes and quantities etc then managed the job through to completion. Very Professional job with nice finish and all work areas left clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to use Northern Stonework again for any masonry or stonework. Excellent.

Although it was a very wet January for completing outside work they kept us informed at every step, were very reliable and worked all hours to the the job done. I am really happy with my front garden, it now looks completely in keeping with the period and has transformed the look of the whole terrace. Peter really understood what I wanted, and had a huge amount of knowledge of the type of renovation and the difference it could make by using stone of the period, together with the right kind of flag stones to help reflect light into the front of the house. I cannot believe the difference it has made to the front of my house. I would absolutely recommend Peter and would not hesitate to use him again.
