Very good experience. The guys explained, in advance, what they would do clearly, they did it efficiently with a smile on their faces and the job was well done. Being a DIY guy I often like to stick my nose in and see what's going on. That didn't bother them and they were happy to explain what they were doing. They cleared up well after themselves. A fair price. What more could you ask for?

After my 4 year apprenticeship i stayed with john dennis for a further 5 years, within this 9 years at john dennis i done the lot from new builds, renovation and extensions. Done work from private to council work 1st fix, 2nd fix. After 9 years went onto the new build, doing everything from kits, roughing out the houses and doing the 2nd fix. I have recently started up my own company and cover every aspect a joinery.

Gordon undertook a complex and highly skilled job for us. We needed a joiner to reinstate and fabricate ornate panelling in our A listed property plus make and install extremely large panelled double doors. The output from Gordon was first class and undertaken in a timely manner. Moreover (and most importantly), his communication is the best I've come across in comparison to other joiners and tradesman we've contracted before. Always contactable and lets you know arrival times and if there's any issues with materials. Couldn't recommend more highly. Needed some bespoke pieces of living room furniture/cabinets made. Its fair to say we are very, very happy with the end result. We had a overlying idea of what we wanted but Jim's professionalism was able to apply the little bits/advice to the designs that made the difference. The workmanship and attention to detail you cannot fault, the efforts to source the right materials and finishing ensured the final work looked great. Jim was always around or on the phone when we needed to speak to him, and when the team arrived to fit all were very knowledgeable, respectful and wanted to ensure a good job was completed. Inviting somebody new to make some major changes into your home is a big step, but I have a big belief that when I employ somebody it is through trust and ability, and I am glad to say all our beliefs and instincts were 110% correct. I would not hesitate to ask Jim and his Finesse team to do other works for me, along with his wider network of trade contacts, they would be welcomed back with a knowledge and certainty that a cracking and professional job would be done. There are a lot of decent companies & skilled individuals in the industry, but you wouldn't do yourself any harm in contacting Finesse Joinery if you need any works doing.
