I recently had extensive work completed in my flat by Vas, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The service was excellent from start to finish. Not only was the quality of the work consistently high, but the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was Vas’s level of skill and versatility. Every aspect of the project was handled with care and professionalism — from plumbing and new water heating pipes, to new electrics, installing a new kitchen, laying a beautiful wooden floor, renovating the bathroom, and even replacing doors with a sliding door system. Alex and the guys did a brilliant job from beginning till end. They were so helpful in getting a quote and advice on how to best proceed. I also got a clear upfront quote before work started. They did the job exactly as discussed and in the time expected, and it looks really nice. They're also really nice people, tidy and considerate and just no hassle at all. I'll definitely hire them again for any future work. It was only a days' work, and the whole job was finished in less than a week from when I posted the ad. I really can't think of anything negative to say at all.

Mohammed Huda and his builder were professional and quick to attend our job –– recommend! The communication was fast and professional. Mohammed provided a detailed quote (our job had to go through insurance) that is fair and transparent. The builder who came around, Jafa, was very respectful to our things. We were able to trust him from the get-go and had a peace of mind when he was working. He works incredibly hard and is methodical in his process (e.g. painting ceiling first, then walls, so to avoid splatter unevenness). They responded to our requests quickly and fixed things we weren't 100% happy with. The team finished the job ahead of time, and gave us tips for refurbishing in the future. Very happy and highly recommend!

Shami and his team had been fantastic from start to finish! Before hiring his team he showed me around a house his team built, which was amazing to see. His communication was excellent throughout the progress of my renovation and very reassuring. Even as I had made changes to the build, he was very helpful in planning and adjusting to my needs. His team had built a single floor rear extension, including a new kitchen, bathroom suite, full electric rewire and plumbing from scratch. Also, comparing his team with six other builders, he had one of the most competitive quotes for the build. Post finishing the job, any issues I had were resolved immediately putting me at ease! I would definitely hire Shami and his team for any future jobs.

I’d advertised for my kitchen unit doors to be replaced as the old ones had started peeling off. Raj replied and said he would be happy to install the new doors for me…he even helped with the measurements to ensure I order the correct sizes…he turned up on the scheduled time and did a great job at a very fair price…on completion he cleared up the old unit doors and left the place clean and tidy…he is now in my contacts and will use again if required…thanks Raj 👍

I’m really happy with the work carried out. He came in to fix my steps after a previous builder had damaged them and left them unstable, and the difference is night and day. Everything now feels solid, secure and properly finished. He also fixed the skirting boards and installed my desk, all to a very high standard. What I really appreciated was how professional he was throughout and the advice he gave along the way, which showed real experience and care for the job. Overall, a really high-quality finish and a great attitude. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I did quite a bit of research before choosing Battersea Builders. They didn’t come in with the cheapest quote but I never base my choice on price alone. And it wasn’t miles above the other quotes I got. Instead, I chose them because they ticked a lot of boxes including a) good independent reviews, b) a dedicated PM, c) qualifications, d) quick responses, e) a decent website etc. Overall, they did a fantastic job. The quality of the work and finish is really good. The PM, Tommy, was really helpful throughout and the team was very polite and conscientious. They were also on site every day as promised and didn’t play that old builders trick of getting the job and then going offsite to secure another job elsewhere (resulting in the deadline being missed). Was it perfect? No, but then not many projects are. I have a few minor comments including the fact there was a misunderstanding about the quality of bathroom cupboard I needed so the original quote was insufficient and costs had to be increased half way through the project. Despite this issue, Tommy did his best to keep the extra costs down. One other niggle was that I asked them to keep all the manuals and instructions for all the fittings but they threw them out. Not a big deal but quite annoying. Overall, it wasn’t cheap but I would use them again because the work was done to a high standard and the team were a pleasure to work with.
