Very happy with the build. Everything went smoothly, Shaun came to our house to discuss the initial quote. What surprised me was Shaun had a full breakdown quote ready the first time we met, by using the online planning with the required work. The final quote had increased but that was due to us wanting extra items such as exterior light and composite doors plus painting. No hidden or extra charges. Everything went as agreed and on time, although the weather did hold the build back on some days. The only trade that was a letdown was the painter, not by the quality of work but reliability, subcontracted and Shaun was quick to sort the issue out right away. Every trade was on time and did the work as agreed to spec. The level of professionalism is what surprised me the most from each trade. From the men doing the ground work and foundations to the electrician. As the customer myself and my parents were spoken to with respect from all the tradesmen and they took their time to explain when we had questions. Huge thank you to Graham the electrician who advised us on the best positions for the exterior spotlights. There was a delay in getting the completion certificate as our build was completed just before lockdown but we have had everything signed and checked by the council. Overall the porch with wc extension looks even better than we could imagine and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get the same type of work. Thank you Shaun and everyone at S.ewing.

A full bathroom renovation was carried out with the dismantling of old plumbing, elimination of leakage, installation of new plumbing and laying of tiles on the walls and floor. Gregg's team knocked down walls, plastered and boarded up doors in order to fit a very large new kitchen for us. The pricing was competitive ( not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for) and GLS Joinery & Building Ltd are a very slick, professional and efficient outfit. From the initial survey visit to the works themself and final snagging, Gregg and his team kept us in the loop at every stage (communication was excellent). They treated our home with respect and were courteous and respectful at all times. They kept the environment clean and tidy and did the job to an extremely high standard and on time. We plan more renovations in our home in the coming years and we will definitely be using Gregg and his team again! We have no hesitation in recommending these guys, especially as we know how many rouge outfits there are out there and the risk you take when trying to select what you hope are legitimate companies.
