Outstanding!!! If you want professional, honest and hardworking builders - look no further. We can't rate Franklin and McKenna highly enough. The level of communication was high, right from the start they always kept us informed and updated regarding, when they were coming, materials etc. They always turned up when they said they would. We felt they went above and beyond - sourcing high quality materials and other trades, at reasonable and sensible prices. They only purchased enough materials required for the job - hence not wasting our money on materials that were not used. We are so pleased we found them - so much so that, they are coming back to do further building work for us. We have already highly recommended them to others and will continue to do so. We can honestly say that they NEVER Let us down and feel they are excellent value for money.

Whilst we didn’t go ahead with Dave and his team (only due to proceeding with a family known builder), I only have great things to say about Dave. He was brilliant from the start in responding to my job post, arranging an appointment and spending a good amount of time talking over my ideas. He was really impressive with his knowledge, advice and expertise throughout his visit and staying in touch after. I cannot speak highly enough of Dave - if you’re thinking about having an extension or renovation - do not think twice about getting in touch with him.

I hired Chris and his team to do a complete refurb of my 3 bedroom house. I had a complete rewire of the property, plaster throughout walls and ceiling, new doors throughout, new floors, new pipework for downstairs which needed replacing, internal wall removed, new kitchen, windows and patio doors, utility room with downstairs toilet added and decorating throughout. It was a massive job and I am absolutely thrilled with my new house! Chris helped me choose suitable options to stick within my budget which was very helpful. He kept me updated every week with a financial spreadsheet to show what had been done and exactly where the costs had been allocated. The whole job took around 8 weeks and I was kept updated the whole way through the process. Quality of work was of a high standard and Chris, Bill and team were super friendly and happy to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend them and use them again myself for any other projects that I might have.

Both Terry and Jason were excellent. They arrived early and the repair to the roof panels as well as the rendering was completed to a very high standard. They were tidy leaving no mess with all rubbish carefully bagged up. Terry has even offered to return to rectify a couple of other minor things he has spotted on the basis of charging just for materials. I would definitely recommend Sandon Oak to others.
