This was a project where I wanted to improve a house for my daughter's first home and where I had to do this on a budget, but as nicely as possible. Dave did a great job on my small terraced kitchen/dining room extension where it was a tricky job due to space restrictions. Dave quoted a good price based on the fact that as a small house, it is only worth spending what you will make in equity on the property, or thereabouts and therefore the cost of improvements have to be proportionate. Quote was accurate and minimal extras fully accounted for re: additional electrical work and a roof light that I requested. Dave was able to recommend other tradesmen to support the finished job (i.e. bathroom) and I was able to negotiate with them independently. Dave was available on the phone and kept me informed on a regular basis as I was out of area. All in all very happy with the professional job completed by Dave and would recommend his friendly, professional approach from supporting initial plans and building regs. to final building regs. and to completion. When I posted the job on My Builder I was facing a deadline after letting go the existing contractor because of poor communication. After contacting Richard and Paul they couldn't have been more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and as I have keen interest in details they were easy to work with. They were able to accommodate my project at relatively short notice which was fundamental to keeping the project on the original timescale. The team were always punctual and always were on site when the said they would be. Their work ethic is a credit to them and was reassuring as we were plagued by some poor weather. To me one of their best attribute is their communication, they kept me informed throughout the project and we discussed the progress everyday. In short they are a punctual, hardworking and reliable and I can fully recommend them.
