Very very happy with Michael's work. From the day one of the meet till end of the project, he and his team been quite professional and have been working with high standards. We received range of quotes from different builders and Michael's quote was somewhere in middle with good quality of work which we have seen during our site visit for his other projects. So, decided to go with him. One really good thing you get from Michael is plenty of ideas and options. From our original drawings, he suggested some changes which were really useful. Being a lay people, During the project we were confused in some design options and Michael really assisted with 3 to 4 options and he suggests which one is the best from his view point but also been flexible if we wanted to do in specific way. He was daily coming to the site to monitor quality and progress of the work. All his team is highly skilled and experienced. The all do general building but when it comes to specific, they have specific tiles, electrician, plumber, painter etc etc who finishes the job at very high quality. They work flexible to complete the job on time and keep the area safe and tidy. In terms of managing project in budget, we had a good experience where Michael will in detail explain what is covered in agreed amount and where the extra cost will incur if there are major changes. I am taking this much time to write this review so that it can help others to see my good experience with Michael. 100% best.

My house was old and its condition was poor. Much were needed to be fix. The original kitchen layout were also inconvenience to my wife. I need to have all these changed under limited time. We choose Surrey Build & Maintain because we felt like Dan and the team really listened to our vision for the extension and shared the desire to produce something that would be an amazing improvement to our house. As with any build, there were many hurdles to overcome. Dan and the team were always there on hand to deal with challenges and overcome them in a professional and experienced fashion. We really felt that Dan was on our side and was able to find numerous ways to improve the project as well as saving money by assisting to redesign the structural plans as they were unnecessarily overzealous. The team was punctual and hard-working, often working on weekends to increase the rate of construction. We stayed at the house during the build and Dan made every effort to make the impact on us as minimal as possible, laying dust sheets, cleaning up each day and keeping a temporary kitchen available to us during the project. We took advice on key features like doors and windows from Dan during the build and absolutely loved his design input. The end result is fantastic and we barely use any other room in the house! Since Dan began the kitchen extension we have also employed Surrey Build to overhaul our bathroom as well. Highly recommended!

I am extremely happy with Jim and team's work. Their work is of high quality and they give attention to details too. I received a lot of positive feedback from friends/family on the extension work they have done. I can confidently say that he's delivered a quality work for a very reasonable price. Jim consulted us throughout the building process making sure we're happy with the decisions. If he found out anything outside the project work, he'd inform and fix it. I agreed to carry out some additional work including front side rendering, bathroom refurbishment and changing some internal doors. He completed all additional work timely and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Jim for any building work. I'll be going with Jim for any building project in the future.

I hired Amrit based on positive reviews, but my experience was extremely poor. The work showed all the signs of a cowboy builder. I’m sharing this to help others avoid the stress, delays, and financial risk I went through. 1: No Respect for Contract or Deadlines Contract deadline was 15th September, which he completely missed. Despite delays, he demanded money almost daily. When I referred him to the payment and work schedule he signed, his response was: “I didn’t read it, I just signed it.” 2: Dangerous and Unprofessional Working Practices Brought in unqualified workers, many of whom could not speak basic English. He ignored safety standards throughout the project and wanted to use the same unqualified workers for gas work, which is extremely dangerous. When I objected, his response was: “Don’t worry, you will get a new house if it blows up as you have insurance.” 3: Work failed multiple building control inspections. He eventually refused to cooperate with the building inspector.
