We are not entirely satisfied with Ludovic's work. Some of the tiles were not cut to the correct messurement which left big gaps in between. Worse still, the grouting was very messy and did not have a smooth finish. We will now have to get another Tiler to redo some of the tiling work. Overall, it was not a professional job and we are not very happy with his workmanship.

Very please with everything, they turned up on time and when they said they would, cleaned up and finished build on time as agreed. I would recommend them to anyone.

We chose Gibbons and Sons for our Loft extension and new bathroom as they was one of the few firms who we contacted and was more then happy for us to view their workmanship during and after the build so we good see the quality of their works. They have been courteous, polite, very patient and accommodating to our chopping and changing of ideas. They helped us to bring our visions to life and offered advice when required without being pushy and driving a hard sale. They have been open and honest with our ideas and their recommendations and in some cases suggested a alternative more cost effective option. All in all we would highly recommend Gibbons and Sons for all types of building works.

AVOID. Ernie incorrectly installed my drains under my house which has caused awful smells and sewage to leak under my house causing long term damage to my foundations Three professional drainage company’s have put a camera to see a Dropped pipe from new to old house. They have identified a connection that was never appropriate. Unfortunately, Ernie after being given many opportunities does not accept any responsibility. He is not an expert at all trades so be careful. I’ve asked him to help put right by exposing the floor which has Underfloor Heating. This has now cost me tens of £000s. My fault for not using a professional team at the beginning of my project.

Ervis was extremely detailed throughout the process and did an excellent job bringing the design we provided to life. The finished garden reflects our vision very well, and the quality of the workmanship is clear. The project did take a little longer than initially expected, but it was evident that the extra time was taken to ensure everything was completed to a high standard. Their attention to detail and commitment to getting things right was appreciated. Disappointed- Avoid I hired EDSS Ltd for a full home renovation including loft, kitchen extension, driveway, outbuilding, and garden. The original project timeline was 17–19 weeks but extended to over 16 months, with several key areas still incomplete or unsatisfactory. While there were some changes to scope and delays (e.g. tenant moving out late), the lack of project management and missed deadlines became a major issue. There was no clear schedule, and expensive materials like kitchen and bathrooms sat unused for months, impacting warranties. Throughout the process, I experienced repeated requests for payments at inappropriate times, and there were long absences without notice, which delayed progress further. The quality of workmanship fell short in many areas. For example, drainage issues led to multiple visits from Thames Water, and I eventually had to hire another company to remedy after months of issues. A lot of work was left unfinished and needed to be outsourced.
