Very friendly and polite team. James and Lewis did a fantastic job rebuilding my boundary wall. Both had a high level of experience within the building trade. The wall was rebuilt to match the existing wall with great skill. Minimal mess was made during the work and everything was cleaned up after work was completed. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Extremely Disappointed – AVOID This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had with a company. Communication was non-existent throughout the project. They would show up for a couple of hours, then disappear for the rest of the week, despite having agreed to a 7–10 day timeline. The job dragged on for nearly a month, causing delays and costing us money. When the work was finally “completed,” they had failed to connect the water properly — both the bathroom and kitchen sinks were leaking. We had to bring in professional builders to fix their mistakes, which incurred even more costs. If you're in the property business, I strongly advise against working with this company. They offer constant excuses, drag out timelines, and clearly lack the experience required for proper home refurbishments. Their workmanship on kitchens and bathrooms is especially poor — what should have been a straightforward job turned into a £6,000 mistake. Do yourself a favour and hire professionals from

Sanders home solutions replaced my mother’s conservatory roof. Mel came out to quote for repairs and a replacement roof. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful , explaining the process to my elderly mother. Mel and his team replaced the roof whilst my mother in hospital . Good communication and completed in a day. The new roof looks fantastic. Mel sent photos of the work once completed and we have now been round to look ourselves and the team have done a fantastic job. We had a promising start and we were impressed. However, as time went on our project was effectively side-lined as the builders had taken on another project and had not completed another project stated before ours. Poor project management leads you to become quite frustrated. The overall quality of the finish is average. The plastering is poor. We have had to spend a lot of time sorting the plastering out. Sloppy workmanship like putting silicon over the protective strips on door and window frames leaves you having to redo the silicon as it all comes away when you remove the protective strips! It’s such as shame as the business owner is young and does have potential but if projects like ours are treated in the same way this new business venture will not succeed. Would I recommend Vertex? Sadly I would have to say no.
