The works were to remove entirely all the aggressive bamboo rhizomes/roots and growth from a small, confined rear garden area ca 4m x 2m which had encroached from a neighbour, and replace with topsoil. Branden carefully scoped the work on site, and devised a safe working plan/method to reduce/eliminate risk damage could occur to the neighbour's ageing, delicate fence asset, or to the property's sensitive garden facias/walls. The works were carried out over two days on his recommendation to eliminate the risks. Branden always communicated clearly as required with myself and the owner of the property, was price very competitive and good value for money, and Branden and his co-worker worked efficiently and carefully at this awkward job. Ben worked on a single storey extension at our property between August 2023 and January 2024. Despite several complications, including access issues for machinery due to the location of our property, nothing seemed to phase Ben and he always found a way to make things happen, where other builders had been put off. He kept us regularly updated with weekly progress reports, setting out what work had been completed and the schedule for the coming days and weeks, which we found really helpful. Having never had any building work done everything was new to us but Ben instantly put at as ease and we knew we were in safe hands! Ben also explained any changes he needed to make and was happy to talk through the different options available, always explaining things clearly so we could understand. Payments were also clearly set out so we knew what we were being charged for and when. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were always polite and courteous and very tidy, making sure the site was cleaned up and left clear of safety hazards at the end of each day. In terms of communication, Ben was always very quick to answer messages and come back with the answer to any queries we had. The team arrived punctually on site each day and we were always updated if there were any changes to their working pattern. Ben was also very considerate to our neighbours when he needed access to their garden in order to complete the work. Our extension was completed to a very high standard and we are extremely happy with it. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben and the CRD team to anyone undertaking a building project.
