Mohammed Huda and his builder were professional and quick to attend our job –– recommend! The communication was fast and professional. Mohammed provided a detailed quote (our job had to go through insurance) that is fair and transparent. The builder who came around, Jafa, was very respectful to our things. We were able to trust him from the get-go and had a peace of mind when he was working. He works incredibly hard and is methodical in his process (e.g. painting ceiling first, then walls, so to avoid splatter unevenness). They responded to our requests quickly and fixed things we weren't 100% happy with. The team finished the job ahead of time, and gave us tips for refurbishing in the future. Very happy and highly recommend!

Fully electrify a new rear, 2 storey side, porch extension and shed. Arek was always the first one on site, worked very professionally, interacted well with the other builders and was happy to accommodate minor changes to the project. He suggested improvements to the the lighting layout and configuration were taken aboard. I highly recommend him and I'll also be using him to change my house consumer unit in the coming weeks.

Mr Rifat did an excellent job for plastering rooms and i would recommend him to everyone highly. The work he has done is to a very high standard and completed in 3 days. His quote was very helpful and comprehensive and he was helpful and very kind and calm. He did not take a break from doing the work, even though i told him to take a seat for 5-10 minutes. He is a very hardworking person. I think anyone to catch him to do a job for themselves is very lucky. I recommend him to everyone because he knows how to do good job.

I’m really happy with the work carried out. He came in to fix my steps after a previous builder had damaged them and left them unstable, and the difference is night and day. Everything now feels solid, secure and properly finished. He also fixed the skirting boards and installed my desk, all to a very high standard. What I really appreciated was how professional he was throughout and the advice he gave along the way, which showed real experience and care for the job. Overall, a really high-quality finish and a great attitude. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We initially hired Michael to convert a bathroom into an office. After meeting him and discussing our longer-term plans, we quickly felt confident moving forward with him on much wider renovation works across the property. Michael worked closely with us throughout the entire process—from early ideas and structural planning through to execution. He consistently provided insightful, practical advice that added real value. His ability to anticipate issues early not only prevented problems but also helped us save money by refining the plans to maximise our goals and avoid unnecessary costs. Michael’s broad knowledge and skill set were hugely beneficial on a project of this size and within a tight budget. He made the process far less stressful and, at times, genuinely enjoyable. He kept me informed and involved at every stage, which gave me a great deal of confidence in both the quality of the work and the decisions being made throughout. Michael helped us renovate every corner of our four-bedroom maisonette in West London—from bathrooms and structural opening-up works to a full kitchen renovation, hard landscaping, flooring, and carpentry. Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 12 Jun 2026
Hired to finish off a complete flat renovation - work mainly consisted of painting, some remedial repair work, light carpentry and a snagging list. Whilst Raj and his guy were great at light repairs, handyman and carpentry work (which is the only reason I’m even rating them with stars), their attention to detail and completion of the snagging list was very poor! Despite having discussions with me to rectify things after I showed him examples, the flat is now left with uneven paint edges, drip marks, uneven grouting, unpainted architraves and sloppy silicone work. Whilst they are good at some things, decorating is definitely not one of them, so it’s a shame and disappointing.
