Marcus & Co were really easy to work with, dealing with issues with underground pipes and other unexpected problems professionally and efficiently. Very reasonably priced but most importantly we were able to trust him and his employees to work in out home unsupervised. If Marcus wasn’t able to complete an aspect of the job, he was able to sub-contract other tradesmen, who also worked at a high standard. We had a rear kitchen extension, utility, downstairs W/C and rendering completed in just under 3 months. I don’t think the work could have been completed any quicker. I have already recommended Marcus to friends and will continue to use him in future for other work.

Large kitchen extension requiring a concrete raft, steel RSJ, underpinning and new pitched roof. John handled all the material ordering, all the excavation, concrete pour and masonry work. He also completed all the timber trusses for the roof as well as the roof itself. The only building work outsourced by John was the electrical, plumbing and plastering. He was reliable on timekeeping. All aspects of his work was methodical and well planned. His knowledge on building matters was evident by the final product reaching satisfactory completion and was passed by the building inspector. I have used John on several other smaller jobs and will be using him again on future projects. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a reliable builder.

We employed GRS to do 2 bedroom extension with ensuite in one room, Gary and his team did a very professional job, the quote for the job was competitive and didnt go over. The job was completed in the timescale given, the team were hard working and he kept us infomed. I needed a kitchen cupboard that previously housed a boiler to be converted back into a regular kitchen cupboard. The guys did a fantastic job in a very professional manner and were very quick and tidy too. Would definitely look to hire them for more work in the future.

The difference usually from commercial and domestic is the standers having worked on multi million pound projects the attention to detail is vital , a lot of domestic workers couldn’t deliver the quality of work needed for commercial projects. Initially the basement conversion looked good but now I am experiencing significant problems . The plumbing hasn’t been completed properly and the rework before plastering is awful so the plaster has now popped and will all need redoing . The wall was not insulated properly . Highly disappointing DO NOT USE.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ From start to finish Rich and his team provided a high quality service, excellent communication and delivered the project on time. We had a single story rear extension and garden renovation in Stoke Gifford Bristol. Right from the start, Rich took care of the planning applications and got the ball rolling. Throughout the work the team were timely and clean- a joy to leave in the house whilst we were out. We are really happy with the finish and quality of the work and could not have asked for more. We will be having the team back for further work on the property!!!
