Paul was friendly, respectful, honest and helpful…very easygoing. He had some sensible suggestions—understood my project (rehanging doors in a period house) and did not try to push any expensive complete overhaul solutions, but equally didn’t do a cheap bodge either. He came up with a clever way to strengthen the doors. He was quick, reliable, tidy and reasonably priced. He understood Bristol houses too. Will definitely use again 😊

We hired SJR Construction to patio a large area of our garden and remove some raised beds and greenhouse base. Steven was a very polite and helpful guy to work with and gace us an affordable quote. His workers battled through very wet conditions to complete the work in reasonable time and we are pleased with the result. We did have a minor misunderstanding involving some finishing touches and rubbish removal but this was sorted out promtly by Steven on the same day. On the whole very nice people who I would recommend to others.

I selected DD Construction to resolve a suspected leaking lead valley because of their professional approach and the comprehensive solutions they offered. The work area was tricky to access and so I wanted a definite fix rather than a temporary repair. Dan outlined various issues that could be responsible for the water ingress into our home and I could see that the whole area required some maintenance. We agreed that some of the roof felt should be replaced and felt protectors be installed. The rotten fascia board was replaced and new upvc guttering installed. A brick wall above the valley was rerendered and painted and finally a new GRP valley replaced the old lead version. Dan costed each element of this work together with areas where costs could be saved and there was no surprises with the final bill. We were away for much of the time the job was carried out but were kept fully informed with photos and updates. We found Dan to be professional, reliable and amenable to deal with and would have no hesitation in recommending DD Contruction and would happily use them again.

GREAT JOB. Tyron was quick to respond to queries. He came for an initial visit to measure up so he could come fully prepared on the day. Very professional, it's clear that he has all the experience and knowledge gained from previous work. He brought a second guy to assist on the day and he was also v professional, tidy and quiet. I would highly recommend Tyron and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Ross and his team removed an old porch and replaced it with an extension incorporating a shower room and hallway. The guy's were an absolute joy to work with and the quality of workmanship and communication superb. I couldn't be happier with the results. Mark and team did a really good job on what turned out to be a tricky build. We didn’t have a side return in the end but we did have significant building work carried out with the removal of a load bearing wall and placing of RSJs. Mark was willing to work with us and let us carry out some of the work and be flexible which was helpful. There were some communication difficulties at times, but we always worked through them and we are happy with the end result.
