I received quotes from numerous companies for a complete house renovation including a double story side/rear extension and single story kitchen extension to completely transform a property from an old 3 bed semi to a modern 4 bed. Paul from PMCS Joinery came out as scheduled and was quick to provide a comprehensive quote that was broken down and detailed so I was clear what was included/not included and it was transparent. The quote was competitive and as Paul had come highly recommend and I’d seen some of his work I went with them. A start date was agreed and work commenced on time. Paul managed the project ensuring all work was at a high standard, Paul was always on site. All trades he brought in were professional and quality. Paul and his teams joinery was exceptional, all his staff polite and courteous. Any extras or challenges Paul managed and talked me through any ideas, options and costs. The quote was honoured despite materials rising. I’ve recommended PMCS to many friends, neighbours and family. The house has been complete to a high standard and I’ve been pleased from start to finish and highly recommend them. I posted the required work for my conservatory roof and received interest from 11 companies. My conservatory is relatively big and a very odd shape. Out of the 11 companies, 4 would not undertake the work, 4 would only work on renovating the current roof, and 2 just didn’t take on board my request quoting something totally inappropriate. Scott came to view the job and was confident in being able to meet my requirements and expectations. He talked me through the work that would be involved and how he would achieve this. His openness, honesty, and guidance gave me the confidence to choose him to undertake the work. He arrived ahead of the scheduled date and got down to work straight away. He kept us informed every step of the way with what was happening, completing the work in the agreed timescales. Scott and his team did a quality, first-class job on the new roof, which I am extremely satisfied with. I cannot thank him enough for what he did and would wholeheartedly recommend him.

We hired Edi & Matt for a 2 storey wrap extension & convert double garage into living space. The build started April & took 4½ months to complete externally, not long at all! They were there 6 days a week & bank holidays at 7.30am, often working late in the evening. They are extremely professional & helpful, offering great advice & helping make decisions. They took deliveries & even dealt with Sky, BT + Aerial companies for us. They were courteous to neighbours & ensured all were happy before starting. We ended up asking a lot more of Edi & Matt, which they dealt with easily; they fitted underfloor heating, tiled + fitted 3 bathrooms, tiled kitchen floor, fitted kitchen, dressing room units & 2 other sets of fitted wardrobes. All of which look amazing! They rendered the house to Edi’s high standard, added new roof, new windows, new sofits/fascia, downlights & PIR’s, suggested moving interior walls - opening up spaces, completed a full rewire, all new central heating pipes, built new staircase, laid wooden floors, and lastly put pictures, rails & mirrors up! Matt even built our dining room table when we struggled! Pricing was very competitive & the build came in exactly as quoted. We’re so happy with our home & the quality of workmanship is outstanding. A lot of decisions were influenced by Matt & Edi, due to their expertise & knowledge of the building trade & what works. I have no hesitation in recommending ADB & already have! I will always use them for any other work we do.
