Darren and the lads were brilliant from start to finish. Any issues that came up were dealt with straight away, and the whole job was managed really well throughout. Darren handled all the different trades and kept me informed at every stage, which made the whole process far less stressful. He was on site throughout the build, always available on the phone, and clearly took real pride in the work. I would thoroughly recommend Darren to anyone looking for a reliable builder for an extension.

Carl is amazing! I had a really bad experience with another builder; and he came to the rescue. He had to take down the extension and rebuild it because the old builder built substandard work. He was reasonable and understanding. His team is the best. He cleans up every day and the place is spotless! I’ve never seen a construction worker so neat! He is honest and truly the nicest man ever. I wouldn’t trust any other person now other than him. Believe me when I say, Carl is the builder you want!

I would like to thank you Johnny for the fantastic job you have done, Johnny came out and looked at the job the day after my posting, he managed to patch in my very old pebble dashing after having a window moved and the back door blocked up, he worked full days in this cold damp weather to get the job finished, I also had a brick step put outside of the patio doors and a lovely brick planter built Johnny even suggested putting some capping on top which finished it off very nicely, he even brought me some soil and put it and the plants I had, into the planter for me, cleaned and washed the yard out, so when I got home there was nothing for me to do, I was very impressed he didn't have to do all that, the price was as quoted, I have already asked for a quote for another job that I need done.

Gary was excellent from start to finish. Was very open about the requirements pertaining to the building regulations and the cost of the work. Which was significantly less than the first quote I had from another builder. He explained what was required by the local authority and the permitted development requirements for new build estates. Communication was excellent and work was completed within the agreed timeframe. I would highly recommend Gary as a trusted tradesperson.

We made a decision to invite Steve and his team to provide us a quote following a recommendation from a neighbour for whom he had done work for a year earlier. They had nothing but praise for; - the initial quotation process - his reasonable pricing, honesty and fairness - the thorough and clear breakdown of the work - his approachability and adaptability - going the extra mile to access the right product - the general atmosphere on site. - the end product. We as neighbours also found them to be respectful and friendly when passing. We are pleased to say we received the same experience. Work began promptly after the contract was agreed and signed. We were in the fortunate position of being able to move in with a family member whilst the work was underway so undoubtedly avoided a good deal of the stresses that can come from living through an extension. At times we worried that being off site for the majority of the build meant we might lack the insight to judge any key decisions/deviations from the plan as work went ahead. However we were reassured to find Steve to always be contactable and willing to discuss and clarify matters to a level by which we were satisfied. Often at unsociable hours for him outside of the working day which proved helpful given our own work commitments, but really felt 'all part of the service' on Steve's part. Towards the latter stages there were a couple of completion 'snags' which took a little longer than anticipated to ensure completion of the project, however this is more a criticism of the unreliability of the subcontractors rather than Steve himself. This is also something Steve has remedied in due course as a result also. On the whole we are satisfied with the high standard of workmanship and the quality end product and absolutely love our new space. We felt the whole experience was like dealing with a good friend. We are therefore happy to highly recommend Langan Developments for any future building work you may be considering. Thank you.

The work done (demolition and removal of a greenhouse and laying a concrete slab) was to a high standard and clear-up impeccable. Dave Market (DMP Building Solutions) came originally to view a lounge extension I was intending on building but we agreed on a kitchen extension due to front elevation restrictions imposed by the council. He talked us through the process and gave us a very positive vibe. He put us in contact with a surveyor and we went through a lengthy planning process which stalled our build for approx 9 months. No fault of Dave. The build started in July and completed in October. Council Building Inspectors threw a few curve balls in and Dave also had a few personnel changes to his team during the build, however his dedication and professionalism never wavered from the goal. We now have a beautiful extension with a sloping roof incorporating a velux window. A nicely tiled floor and panelled ceiling along with new additional units, tiling, plumbing, woodwork, plastering all done to a very high standard. Where Dave finds issues or wants professional assistance he has a wide range of experts at hand including, roofers, electricians, gas specialist, window/door fitter, kitchen fitters. He doesn't make do with tasks he uses these professionals to ensure things are done right. The outside has been finished in matching brick and slate with white pvc pipework and guttering. All very easy on the eye. I'd recommend DMP solutions to anybody wishing to have an extension built and I'm sure other work would also be completed to just as high a standard.
