Ion arrived at agreed time ( which was short notice as there was an unexpected electrical issue that needed fixing at my tenants house ) . He fixed the issue and the tenants were happy with the results. Although I haven't met Ion in person since it was a rental property that he attended he was helpful and polite on the phone and did the required work as agreed which happened to be an issue with the supply to a cooker hood. I would ask him to do further work as and when needed in the future. Thank you !

I recently hired Cosmetic Electric for an EICR inspection. My experience was a mix of excellent professionalism regarding scheduling, but disagreement regarding the final pricing. I appreicate electrician's exceptional flexibility. He originally attended the property for a scheduled appointment, but the tenant had an emergency. The electrician was incredibly kind and understanding,he return for a second visit without issue. The agreed price for the testing was £110. During the inspection, a loose socket was identified. This resulted in a C2 code (Potentially Dangerous) on the report, which requires rectification for a satisfactory certificate. While the work was performed correctly, I found the additional charges for securing the loose socket—amounting to an extra £80 to sort out the socket. I offered less which was percieved an insult which I am unable to understand and wondering what did I said wrong. seems it's my mistake to not list full scope of the job and agreeing in advnce!!!

Poor communication. He gave me a date first then cancelled it due to he’s son got ill which is understandable and I told him no worries will do it in your flexible time. Then he gave me another date and I agreed then day after I asked him what time will you come no reply then day before I messaged him no reply and he didn’t arrive on his chosen day. I waited whole day for him then called him no answer. The worst communication I have ever come across and I would recommend you to find a good responsive person avoid someone like him. Who doesn’t have value for other people’s time. Very unprofessional.

Punctual, polite and completed the work for the price agreed. One or two bits could have been finished better I.e. fitting blank ends to the plastic conduit (minor points I’ve done myself). All in all a good job and reasonable price.

We had a new replacement oven installed so it was quite a straight forward job to connect the new oven so you thought but it was a good job that we had Patrick to do the job as he noticed that the old cable was not thick enough to coupe with the 30Amp requirements so he replaced it. Patrick had the job done very professionally. He arrives promptly. He even gave my house a quick check to see if we need rewirings which is nice to know. Overall I would use Patrick for my next job.
