The job went well. The isolator switch was replaced. However, this new switch failed. Matt came the next day and replaced it. He is pleasant, courteous and efficient. I will use him again as the need aroused.

Good communication in the beginning, small issues post having a full rewire that has left me stressed for weeks. I have contacted multiple times trying to get the paperwork for the job they have completed, it's been more than 3months. With multiple verbal promises that it will be done and sent. This has made me so anxious and stressed everytime I have had to contact them about the same issue more than 6 times. I have decided to just go through trading standards at this point. Lovely ppl at the start but I guess that's just ppl. Update: after leaving the initial review they have gotten back to me and issue was resolved.

Wow... where do I start with this one. First fix, some of his work had to be rectified by another electrician who pointed out the following. Each of the double sockets wired unprotected without any grommets installed. One single socket wired with twin and earth cable hanging out. Spurring from a socket that's already on a spur, which is against the regulations. Unecessary wiring which could of been done much easier. Never really looked at my plans for the kitchen. Double sockets in wrong places which had to be rectified. Double sockets behind a integrated washing machine when I clearly stated it had to be at the side. Cables not running low enough so the kitchen fitter wasn't very happy. Surely this is basic stuff for an electrician wiring a kitchen? He didn't run any tests from the fusebox to check for any faults that could of occurred and only tested his work using a socket tester you can pick up from local tool merchant for under £6.99 and even I own one of them. Both agreed on WhatsApp price would be £350 first fix and £100 second fix but actually wanted £200 on second fix but I showed him proof of our messages on WhatsApp it should be £100. Literally took his £100 and left without giving me any certification of his work. Some of the work done I could of done a better job myself and I am not even an electrician. I started to question his work when another electrician had to come round and rectify his work and even did it free of charge because his work was that bad.

Ion arrived at agreed time ( which was short notice as there was an unexpected electrical issue that needed fixing at my tenants house ) . He fixed the issue and the tenants were happy with the results. Although I haven't met Ion in person since it was a rental property that he attended he was helpful and polite on the phone and did the required work as agreed which happened to be an issue with the supply to a cooker hood. I would ask him to do further work as and when needed in the future. Thank you !
