With Robbie happy to discuss the job over the phone beforehand and put our minds at ease. A big shout out to the team for undertaking this work during COVID. We understand the pressures this places on our tradespeople and we thank Robbie and his team for their diligence and commitment to wearing masks in our home and working safely. We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Active team, did the EICR test ok and smoothly, and invoiced us and got paid in full. Then they provided a quote for the fixes and we agreed to go ahead with them as quoted. They confirmed a date to attend but then asked for 50% ADVANCE payment of the whole fixing invoice which was unusual. As we were in urgency, we agreed to pay the 50% but through credit card but they insisted on Bank transfer or Direct debit only which also was weird and unusual and make us feel uncomfortable so we did not continue. We refurbished the whole flat and paid tens of thousands and no company or contractor asked for 50% advance payment. It will be so naive from anyone to pay in advance to someone who they just met online and I don't understand how they thinks is is ok!

This is my reference of builder and all round handyman Radu. I found him to be the best builder I have ever had in the 26 years that I have been living in London. He is always on time and no problems to be around solves problems and I most certainly will not be getting any other builder from now on except Radu to work on both my properties in Kensington Chelsea and Kensington Olympia . He is fantastic at decorating does not take ages to do a job and is totally honest and absolute dream to have around and has had many years of experience . I will for sure refer him onto any of my friends who may need building works and or rennovations done to their homes or properties.
