I hired Aiden to rebuild my front steps (£1,100) which were done well, so I asked him to rebuild my patio (£3,060). Unfortunately, the patio was poorly finished,uneven slabs, gaps, and sloppy workmanship. I contacted him the next day, but he ignored all messages for over a week. When he responded, he claimed that without a signed contract, none of the assurances, including the 20 year warranty were valid. I never received the promised invoices and someone later claimed he no longer worked for the company, this felt like an excuse. Update: I was never asked to contribute an extra £200. I only pointed out a materials cost error (£1,390 not £1,590), which led to a revised quote. We hadn’t walked on the patio as my partner was at work and noticed the issues the next morning. Aiden had walked on the slabs and used the entrance by the conservatory something I mentioned to him as a possible factor affecting the finish. Very disappointed. Get everything in writing verbal promises mean nothing.

hi I'm Andy I'm 42 years of age and started in 1996 done my apprenticeship with George wimpy builders gained NVQ 1-2 I worked on various sites learning various trades this continued after I left until 2002.I went into floor laying commercial premises nursing homes schools collages and specialists in polyurethane flooring for sports halls etc. Wet rooms were a specialty and this now is used on walls. Last trade was a fencer I covered new builds schools business premises to the humble home

Richard employs trained specialist men each having a responsibility for particular areas of the building trade. Hence several men have been with us over a period of9 days, each taking care of their 'area and being careful and doing a good job. The finished patio area is 5 star and the old pathways have all been lifted, relayed and new slabs used where needed. I'm Tony from Coventry. These brothers (Steve and Gary) provided a competitive quote and did a nice job installing a patch of 4 X 3 artificial turf for me. I believe they're based in Birmingham but they had no issues coming out to Coventry. What a find! CRA Construction have recently created a kitchen, dining and family room. The work involved was varied including moving windows and existing plumbing, knocking down a wall, installing a RSJ, levelling floors, installing new electrics and finishing with a large fully fitted kitchen and work tops. From the outset Craig was approachable, friendly and honest and more importantly, he was always contactable and kept to his timetable of work. His advice was always for the best of the project and no addition or amendment was too much trouble. I received a detailed initial quote which was broken down for each stage of the project. Several amendments were made by me during the build and the impact and price was always fully explained and cost understood prior to agreement. The finished work is of an extremely high quality, I am well pleased. The quality of the kitchen fitting is equally outstanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending Craig and CRA Construction to anyone. You will not be disappointed and more importantly, you will be pleased with the price and quality of his work. I will invite Craig back in a few months to refurbish 2 bathrooms and do not intend searching elsewhere. Not recommended. Poor communication. Had my driveway done last year. I was given 5 years guarantee but driveway sank within couple of months. Ever since I have been calling but no response. Called and sent numerous text but he has no Customer Service and no Courtesy. The blokes had to endure appalling weather. They arrived nice and early, en mass, lorries, machines, equipment, etc and ploughed on regardless of the conditions. Extremely amiable people and after a much nicer final day presented a very attractive 17 metre long driveway in a very attractive granite stone finish...as recommended by Ted as soon as he scoped the job barely a month before. I think the price was highly competitive and I would happily refer them to friends and family for other work. Wow what a hard worker! Reece was such a nice man who got straight on with the job of digging-out for our patio. He did a brilliant job, in speedy time, which was hard going digging out rock solid soil. He was also so kind in engaging with my 11 year old grandson who wants to do this type of work, and who quickly became his helper for the day.
