So I can’t put completed as the job isn’t. He’s walked off site because he’s not happy that we have been commenting on his time keeping. Day one which was actually day 2 but the material didn’t arrive until late fair enough. Anyway day 1 half a days work done due to it being too windy. I have texts telling me only thing that would stop him building the wall is the rain. Also have texts saying that he’d be working weekends if he was running behind which didn’t happen. Anyway next day no show as again too windy. Then the weekend and again no show, too windy. Finally we get a weeks work done and all’s looking good. He asked for a payment early and at that rate of progress was only a couple of days early so paid up no problem. That’s when we started to have problems. Basically time keeping shocking and attitude towards clients is appalling. He’s walked off site today still leaving basically 3 walls to build and a number of fence panels to install. I tried explaining exactly what went on but it’s not enough characters. Chris is a friendly and attentive tradesman. He was prompt in attending the site and suggested various solutions for the repair of the pothole, even preparing the area and marking it out. After I considered his quotation and accepted it, he returned the next morning and completed the work.
