We had a great experience working with BS Loft Conversions on our L-shaped dormer loft conversion. Anxhelo was friendly, approachable and professional from the initial quote through to completion. We made a few changes as the build progressed, and he was always open to discussing options and finding sensible solutions. We found the original quote fair, and the additional items we added were also priced fairly. Anxhelo was generous with his time in offering advice on different aspects of the build, which we really appreciated. The team – Anxhelo, Klaidi, Henry and Jimmy – were on site consistently, worked hard, and are clearly experienced at what they do. At the end of each day, and at the end of each stage of the project, the site was always left very clean and well organised. Conversions - General- 29 Dec 2021
We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Ricky Reid I was looking for a company who could help me with a light refurbishment (kitchen, bathroom and full decoration) of a one bedroom flat in south west London to be ready for rental within 15 days. I posted my ad request on mybuilder.com and a few companies contacted me. Ricky Reid, was the third one I met and eventually the one I chose. Why? R. was straight forward, no gimmicks and did his best to understand what my needs were from day one. Especially when my vision at the start wasn’t that clear. Him and his team delivered within the time frame agreed as well as within the quote given plus a few extras that hadn’t been considered at the start of the project. He was always available for questions or clarifications needed over the phone at any time! A rare quality in itself in the building world. If there was anything that could be improved, this would be clarifying certain jobs that were on the quote (and I mean specifically what they exactly covered) from the start to avoid stingy or unexpected surprises cost wise. However this isn’t Ricky’s fault and I take my full responsibility as I should have done my homework before hand. Overall satisfied with the result and I would certainly contact Ricky and his team for my next future projects and so should you reading this review. Octavian is a really great guy, very reliable, never disappoint, maintained good communication with us all the time. As a customer, obviously the most important part is great craftmanship, we have used other teams before and you can easily tell the difference between his work and the others. From things such as painting (you can tell they have paint and sand multiple times to provide such great finishing), tile installation (the gap between each tile is tiny, and they are very flat), Octavian’s team can get them all done. This job involves a full flat refurbishment, so the flat was completely stripped, knocked down a few walls, install new pipes / wire etc. During his work he has spotted many things that we have not noticed before. Unlike some other contractors who do not care, they will just finish what they were asked to do and leave. Octavian spotted it and recommend us the best solution for it, to provide the best outcome for the project. It is important to find someone who do care about the customer and the project.
