I heartily recommend E.G. Groundwork. Ed's work ethic is very impressive - he spent hours doing tough physical work in horrible weather conditions without taking any break. There was a lot of concrete and metal to break up and remove as well as a lot of rubbish, but Ed worked very efficiently to clear it all in good time. He was pleasant and cheerful at all times and also helpful, e.g. he lent me some of his tools so I could complete a job myself. Ed's email communication was professional, clear and timely, and the price he charged for the job was more than reasonable. I will definitely use Ed's services again in the future.

Andrew was cautious and rightly so as this was a very difficult decision in terms of whether it was safe to proceed. In the end we hired another guy who just took his sledgehammer to the brickwork and discovered an old internal chimney - full of soot!
