He explained clearly what he thought the cause of the damp problem was and did a test section first to investigate and confirm his suspicion. Once this had been confirmed, he again clearly explained how this could be resolved whilst also keeping costs to a minimum. I believe other less scrupulous people may just have advised to rip off all the plaster and redo the whole room. As other trades were also required to complete the job, Martin arranged all of this and project managed their arrival so the work progressed smoothly and seamlessly. I would have no hesitation in asking Martin to undertake further work-(in a house the age of mine there is always something to fix)- or to recommend him to others.
