We were pleasantly surprised and relived of how easy he was to deal with. His communications by phone and email were clear and frequent and he answered all our questions. His company turned up on time on each appointment and the work was completed on time. He provided us with excellent pictures of the completed work with a itemized invoice. Latest review:Damp Proofing-I highly recommend Ed and his entire team. He came to inspect the problems the very next day and the work was completed within a week. Roof slates replaced and repaired, chimney needed a bit of work also. Damp patch taken down to the bricks and repaired beautifully and in a very tidy fashion. Ventilation added in bathroom and in window next to damp patch. Also repaired an air brick that had been poorly installed in upstairs bay. All lovely lads, honest and trustworthy. All with a 5 year guarantee. I will definitely hire them again for any future needs. And the cost was exceptionally reasonable, happy to pay it. Many thanks Ed and all the lads. Erin
Friendly, thorough, knowledgable, included us and explained things to us as he took readings and evaluated the tasks to be done; clearly and simply explained the process for the damp course and the re-plastering; gave us helpful printed information about the process. Dave included everything that needed to be done in the quotation; there were no surprises. He took care of everything - removed and replaced radiators, skirting boards and beading, and the quote included an electrician coming and handling the power sockets and censors. I didn't have to find any other trades people -- it was an all-inclusive deal! We also hired Dave to do four other building jobs -- all done to our satisfaction (install loft hatch, ladder and boarding and install an interior door to garage). We are very pleased and easily recommend DL Builders.
