I was thoroughly impressed with Gio right from the start. He visited promptly to assess the work (exterior painting, varnishing & brickwork) and produced a clear, itemised estimate. He came on the date we agreed, with a colleague, and they completed all the work to an excellent standard, despite worsening weather conditions. Gio checked any queries with me as they arose, and explained any choices I needed to make clearly. He also agreed to add an extra job on for me. Bad weather had caused damage to my garden shed roof, and although they couldn't fit the refelting in that day, they made a temporary cover to keep it secure until the work can be done. I was very happy and would definitely recommend GRN Services.

Accepted the job, then suddenly decide to pull out. There are signs of Sam reply became slow , not providing things agreed. I knew something was wrong. Might be same for all builders, as they are basically hunting for jobs that fits with their needs. But the way he pulls out of the project, leaving me empty handed and unprepared, is unprofessional and show no integrity. Will avoid dealing people like this.

Unfortunately we can’t recommend Terry Collins (Collins Brickwork & Builders). Collins Brickwork & Builders quote didn’t include the cost for a toilet door or the hanging of it So had to pay Extra for that? Slow process on the job, We had to chase for works to be done The finish of the roof could have been better. But ultimately the main reason for the poor review is we had to take Terry Collins (Collins Brickwork & Builders) to the small claims court for the measly sum of £85.00 for an emergency repair required to the toilet they installed incorrectly which flooded the newly built extension. After sending Terry Collins (Collins Brickwork & Builders) photos of the corrective work and the emergency plumbers invoice he agreed to settle the payment but he didn’t respond to my emails / calls or text’s requesting the payment leaving us no option but to try and get the money back through the court. On the day of writing this feedback (some 3 months down the line) the payment is still outstanding and no further contact has been forthcoming. We chose Terry Collins (Collins Brickwork & Builders) who submitted the 2nd most expensive quote we received partly because of his good feedback on MyBuilder however when viewed, this good feedback is mostly for brickwork not general building work so maybe he overstretched his skills with our small job. I have photos of all of our issues and happy to post on MyBuilder as proof if required.

We were very pleased with the work carried out. Daniel provided a very clear quote with drawings of what the work would entail. He took a lot of time to look at the job beforehand and went into detail. We felt the price was reasonable. His communication was good, not too much and not too little. He and his team were always punctual and polite and discussed everything as they went along when we turned up onsite. They kept the site as tidy as possible and always cleaned up at the end of the day. The job came in on time and on budget. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone else.

Luke was superb from start to finish. During the quotation phase he was very quick to visit the property and give me an initial estimate. I had to adjust the scope of work a couple of times and Luke was very responsive in amending his quotation. When we agreed the project could go ahead, he provided a plan for how the work would be carried out room by room. Whilst the work was carried out Luke provided updates every few days, including photos. And at the end of the project I was able to do a site visit and talk with him through all the various changes. He is a real professional as well as being a nice guy with a good positive personality. Had a really positive experience, his approach meant no stress as a client, can thoroughly recommend.

Im am very untrusting having worked in various trades, from the first meet with James, I knew he was the builder to use. He price was fair he managed to work area and kept me and my wife informed. He never assumed and alway double checked anything that wasn't already agreed. The work quality surpassed my expectations, even neighbours commented at how good the work is.
