If Billy turns up he does an excellent job. He fitted our first wood burner and he was professional, polite and personable. Unfortunately we weren’t so lucky second time around. As you will see from other 1 star reviews, Billy has quite a high number of family emergencies/illnesses/jet-lag (7 cancellations for us) which are followed by lots of promises that he won’t let you down again. If you have endless flexibility and don’t need anything to be done on time, you might end up with good work. I can make granite hearths or marble, limestone or sandstone, sizes to order. I fit customers own fireplaces, purchased from the internet or eBay. I can’t do gas or electrics, but I know people who can. I also don’t fit wood burning stoves or sweep chimneys! I will travel anywhere
Wayne did a fantastic job removing our cast iron fireplace and bricking up the opening. Also helped us out with draft coming from another fireplace in our property. Communicated efficiently and effectively. Was able to do the job with 2 days notice and on a Sunday, which was much appreciated. Knowledgeable, friendly and would definitely recommend.
