Get in touchI am sure the stove and the installation would be great, but unfortunately there was a breakdown of communication - I have the email evidence that I had accepted 11 Dec as the installation date, but reception said they didn’t receive this email and they sent two emails which I didn’t receive. I did not receive one email asking about “paying deposit”, or else I would have paid. Instead of trying to fix it, the reception asks to refund the deposit because they feel there has been a breakdown in communication which is not good for our working relationship. We would have found another company a month ago, but there’s no way we can get it done before XMas. Needless to say, we are very disappointed! ☹️ Edit: There were no chasing emails and there were no phone calls. Damian came out to assess the work and was incredibly professional, polite, and transparent, providing a realistic time frame and a very competitive quote. The communication throughout the process was outstanding. They kept us informed about every detail ahead of the installation and patiently answered all of our questions, no matter how small, without making us feel silly for asking. The team repaired our fireplace and chimney and installed a log burner, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. What stood out most was their honesty and thoroughness—when an issue arose with the roof, they promptly made us aware of it and resolved it as part of the job. Overall, we’re very impressed with their service and would highly recommend DCS Flues to anyone looking for reliable and professional workmanship.
