I paid for a boiler service and a Gas Safe certificate, yet the engineer later admitted he could not remember which boiler he had worked on. This demonstrated a clear lack of organisation and professionalism. A few weeks after the service, the boiler began leaking. He promised to return to inspect the issue but never did. Since then, he has ignored both emails and text messages. This level of unreliability is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid using him at all costs. Losing your phone is not a valid excuse. You promised to returning on 29/12, yet you failed to do so and made no attempt to inform me. Even if your phone had been lost, you could still have accessed your emails via a computer, tablet, borrowed device, or a public library. If you took your professional responsibilities and your customers seriously, you would have found a way to communicate. There are multiple ways to access email, and the failure to do so reflects a clear lack of professionalism!

David from Bdd Pluming did an absolute amazing job. He contacted me as soon as I posted the job and fitted my radiator the next day. He worked quickly and efficiently with minimum mess. He gave me a lot of advice on my heating system and is coming back next week to give my boiler a service. He was very polite and friendly and such excellent value. It cost half what other plumbers were quoting, I would definitely recommend using him.

Came down twice, once to assess the repair required and 2nd time to carry out the repair. The thermal store required to be drained and new immersion heaters to be installed. All done and hot water has been restored!

Accredited Vaillant, Worcester Bosch & Glow-Worm installation engineer. Self employed for 8 years, full gas safe registration and public liability insurance up to £2million. Please feel free to ask anything. Currently sub contracting as a repair engineer in the housing sector during the winter - from fault diagnosis on complex light commercial/large domestic systems to landlord certification in 1 bedroom flats - and a commercial catering engineer in the event & hospitality sector during the summer - from installing and de rigging large temporary kitchens in marquees at the races to ‘standby’ engineering at main stream sporting events to repair appliances if they were to fail whilst the event is live - in between building up my own clientele portfolio mainly by word of mouth. My domestic rate is £78 ( £65+ ) My commercial rate is £102 ( £85+ ) No call out rate but would be charged hours rate for up to the first hour. Every hour after is split in half. For instances if I attend and am completed in 40 minutes this would be the first hours rate. If it is 90 minutes to complete this would be 1.5 x the hourly rate.
