Peter fixed the boiler quickly. While other tradesman said I should replace the boiler (at £3000+ cost), Peter immediately understood the problem and fixed it for £80. He was also able to explain the issue so that even I could understand. All tidy and back to normal now, and boiler works fine. Top marks and would definitely again rely on Peter if another issue crops up.

David fixed a major leak in our underfloor central heating system and did an excellent job. After a house extension in summer 2025, we noticed in October that the boiler was losing pressure, eventually dropping several times a day and leaving us without hot water. The original builder couldn’t find the issue, so I found David via MyBuilder. From the first call, he was honest, professional, and explained his approach clearly. He didn’t quote upfront and carried out a thorough investigation, checking all zones and pipework methodically. David identified a short faulty pipe near the boiler, reran the pipework, and completely resolved the problem. He even returned the next day to make a small upgrade. Very knowledgeable, reliable, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend David for any plumbing or central heating work.

I am pleased with the job which Harry carried out. He recognised that my job was quite urgent and offered me a quick appointment. He arrived at the agreed time, and was polite and professional. He carried out the job efficiently and without fuss. I was a little disappointed that he wanted to charge me extra to remove the old toilet. I assumed this was included in the quote, as his wasn't the cheapest quote. That said, the job itself was well done and I have since disposed of the old toilet myself. I would use Harry again.

Fraser has been a pleasure to deal with - he is polite, professional and extremely knowledgable. What started out as a seemingly straightforward job of moving a radiator turned out to be a far bigger and more complicated one (through no fault of his but were issues in the property that only came to light once the job had started). Instead of giving me slap dash quick fix solutions that would've been unsightly, or putting pressure on me to make a decision, he remained totally professional and understanding and talked me through all of my options. He spent a good couple of hours doing some investigation work - only to find more obstacles. He could've talked me into making a decision there and then just to get the job done but there were so many more things to consider than I'd expected and he saw that I was a bit overwhelmed so he suggested that he send me all my options and the costs involved so I could have a proper think about it. He didn't even charge me for the 2 hours he was here. I was confident enough to hire him after reading his good reviews, but now since meeting him and experiencing the way he works in person, I have no doubt that I made the right decision. In this industry you need to find tradesmen you can trust and Fraser is 100% one of those people.

I had some issue with radiator leaking / faulty valves and reverse circulation in boiler. Phil explained what needed to be done and sent me a detailed quote. Overall very satisfied with the completed work. Clean and efficient. Ended having my boiler serviced as well as it was due and Phil advised me on a new thermostat. Will definitely hire P&R plumbing again in the future. The fact there is no call-out charge at first visit was a bonus.

During the terrible heatwave in August 2026, Blueflame Boilers came to my rescue as the quickest solution to fixing my leaking toilet cistern, and a week later they installed a new combination boiler in my loft. I was fortunate to get the owner of the company Haydon to do the work as, inspite of the dreadful heat and his unexpected sudden shortage of staff, he was dedicated to completing the boiler work whatever the circumstances. The excessive heat in my loft made it impossible to complete the job in the expected 1.5 days and Haydon stayed on to complete it over consecutive 3.5 working days (Wednesday to Monday). He’s a lovely person and easy to talk to, and he introduced me to equally pleasant roofers (who he employed for the roof boiler flu work) who I will employ for further roof repairs. And I would definitely employ Blueflame again.
