We employed Graham from Gee Flooring after he showed interest in our post having been let down by another contractor leaving our customer without a bathroom floor right at the end of their project. Graham assured us that he had installed lots of these floors, made us aware of the compromise needed in the installation due to some of the prep which I had agreed and he also went out of his way to get some weld rods even though we had mentioned this. He had also asked us to get an additional bit of floor prep levelling. They didnt have his preferred choice, so I called him from the store and he agreed the alternative. This all seemed really positive. However, everything went down hill from here. With the bathroom being tight and not being able to access until glue had dried, we trusted Graham based on his spirit and paid him on leaving as normal with floor layers. Once dry we accessed the bathroom and were mortified by the finish. - Poor cuts everywhere - Attempted silicone cover ups (not even completely done) - Dipped channels in the floor which would hold water - Left all the rubbish - Took the large off 3m x 3m off cut Initially we were in communications with Graham and were being reasonable with requesting his return, even offering to purchase additional floor along with him returning the off cut. We even waited for his return from holiday and then he ghosted us. He meant that we lost trust with our customer and that is everything to us. Avoid at all costs, you will be left feeling completed underwhelmed. It is people like this that give responsible contractors a bad name and this platform a misrepresentation. Graham needs stopping immediately as would hate to see someones precious money being thrown down the drain.
