Oliver and his fitter did a good job fitting new carpet throughout my bedrooms and stairs. The quality of the carpet is good and all was fitted neatly. Unfortunately, Oliver quoted and promised vinyl flooring for my kitchen but when the fitter saw my kitchen lay out he said it could not be done, which was disappointing. Damon & Kyle did a fantastic job on painting our hallway. Very professional right from the start with the initial scoping visit and providing a quote, all the way through to recommending paint types and colours, to finishing the job. Both very polite and friendly lads, no trouble at all to have in the house, and would clean up after themselves every day. The type of work we normally take on is anything to do with flooring apart from laminate but apart from that we fit carpet,vinyl,cousion floor,site form vinyl, and LVT.
Callum of cb flooring, arrived prompt and got straight to the job. He fitted vinyl flooring in my kitchen. The work was completed within the hour and I was very pleased with the end result. I have been in the flooring trade since the age of 16. I have 10 years experience in fitting all types of flooring and always have positive feedback from customers. I undertake work as small as a box room or as big as restaurants/ nightclubs and everything in between. I am very proud of my work and always make sure the customer is satisfied before leaving a job. I ensure I leave the environment is clean and tidy.
I am very sorry to have come across this tradesman. We had carpets fitted in three bedrooms, only one of which has been done well, the other two rooms have very loosely laid carpet, creating an uneven floor. We also had laminate flooring fitted in the kitchen, only to find that this part of the job has been left unfinished with cuts in the floor (possibly from cutting other laminate pieces directly on the floor rather than outside / in a designated area), unattached edging and gaps between the walls and floor area. We also found the unused laminate planks, that could had been used to finish the floor, snapped in half next to the house among the waste from the other renovation work that has been underway in the house. I will not be able to recommend this tradesmen. Josh was really quick with responding and he came straight away to provide us with a quote for a staircase runner. He did a really good job, fitting the staircase runner nicely and then cleaning after the job.
