I originally trained as a teacher, but over the past seven years I’ve built a career in construction, working my way up to Construction Manager for a large firm specialising in education and healthcare projects. That experience gave me a strong foundation in project management, health and safety, quality control, and delivering projects on time and on budget. Over the past year, I’ve taken that expertise into my own business, offering reliable, high-quality handyman and refurbishment services. I specialise in a wide range of work, including refurbishing retirement homes, installing bathroom ensuites, reworking structural floors, fitting kitchen islands, boarding loft spaces, installing loft access hatches with ladders, and laying new vinyl, laminate, and carpet flooring. I can also carry out basic plumbing tasks and manage projects from start to finish. I’ve also fully renovated my own home from the stud work up, handling walls, floors, and ceilings, and finishing every detail to a high standard (with a qualified electrician for wiring). That hands-on experience gives me a meticulous eye for detail and the confidence to tackle any project. Based in the Shrewsbury area, I’m happy to travel to clients as needed.
