A great Job by Barry from FAB joinery. We had quite a weird request for a recessed screen installation into an old Lath and Plaster ceiling. Barry had a can do attitude and was really accommodating around our other work. He also did a great job on it and kept everything clean and dust free. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else and will be using him again in the future.

At £4760 Ben was the most expensive of the three quotations we got to replace our decking, but we chose Design Joinery because we got the impression they knew what they were doing. I am in my 70's & had just come out of hospital after further surgery so we wanted secure & accessible, anti-slip decking as I am afraid of falling. On the whole they did a good job, arriving punctually & working hard however the steps which they built up to the decking were of uneven heights; the top step is extremely shallow & (to compensate) they've made the bottom step too high (see photo). When they requested payment, after the 4th day of work, we immediately paid in full (as they had bought a lot of wood) but I asked them to please rebuild those steps. Ben said they had adjusted the steps already & were not going to do more even though I explained the bottom step was too steep for me & felt unsafe. We might now have to pay for another joiner to come out & re-do the steps to a more even height.

We were extremely pleased with Scott's work. He replaced the kitchen worktop (laminate), repaired some of our cupboard doors, fitted a new kitchen sink + pull out drawers for bins, and finally decorated the walls. Scott is very pleasant and patient. He finished the work in 3 days. He is extremely efficient, cleans up after his work every day and very reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to call him again in the future and recommend him strongly.

Andy has just started his business. He was very diligent and prompt in attending this job. The origianl work was great around the new heat pump. It looks good and is standing up well in our windy garden. But the fence around the area where the old fuel tank was removed (we keep our bins there now) didnt survive the wind. We tried to use the original posts and that was a bad design in retrospect. He returned and we redesigned the surround and he did a great job. I certainly would hire him again if I had a roofing or fencing job.
