From quote to completion, Patrick and gang were skilful, efficient and knowledgable on our job. Retaining walls of concrete block, with some really nice brickwork sections, a couple of runs of sleeper dividers, finishing the job by shifting and setting levels for the new 3 tiers across the whole back yard area. More than happy with the work done, and would not hesitate to recommend them...

We needed to reconfigure the downstairs living area of our 70s house to make a more useable living space and of the traders who visited us to see the job, Dan Green from DJG stood out as friendly, trustworthy, knowledgeable and imaginative, helping us to figure out how we could achieve our plan. Once instructed, he started the work quickly and was very communicative, happy to reply to texts and have phone calls to discuss all sorts of things in addition to being easy to talk to on-site. He and his team took out a dividing wall and an old brick fireplace, old floors, old radiators and old doors, and installed a new kitchen, appliances, lighting and flooring, finishing it all off nicely so that our home is now transformed into a beautiful and functional space with a much better flow and more natural light. It has transformed how we live in the house. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Dan for help with future projects.

Richard is professional in every aspect of his work. After showing immediate interest he made a prompt appointment to visit us. He has a wise head on young shoulders and provided a detailed written estimate showing the total cost broken down between materials and labour. Nothing was hidden. On given the job he gave suggestions on the web sites to visit to source the best decking. He then took on the responsibility of ordering the right amount of decking and arranging delivery. Not only that but he also turned up on the day of delivery to supervise the unloading (even though he wasn't due to start the project until a few days later). During the course of the build, Richard arrived bright and early every day and put in a full days work unlike many contractors we've used in the past. He is a very hard worker, who is polite, conscientious and always goes the extra mile to make sure his customer is happy. He finished the deck earlier than expected and as a result lowered our bill accordingly without even having to be asked. The deck itself looks amazing and Richard has done a first class job. I would thoroughly recommend employing him. We have already made arrangements for him to come back to do some other work because he is honest, fair, trustworthy and has a great work ethic. These qualities are rare in todays world of contractors where not enough want to roll up their sleeves and put in an honest days work. Well done Richard on bucking the trend!
