Based on my experience I have no hesitation recommending BCB Building Services who came recommended to me prior to this work by word of mouth. I needed to carry out modest renovation and remediation works on a newly purchased period property requiring many trades; general builder, scaffolder, plumber, plasterer, roofer, landscaper and damp specialist, etc. Brad and BCB team promptly provided a quote and, essential for me, agreed to source and project manage the diverse trades required to complete the work. They are busy but worth the patience and short wait necessary to get the work done by them. The workforce were professional, tidy, courteous and organised minimising disruption during the works and leaving the house clean and undamaged in their wake. The works were delivered per schedule and to a high standard and whilst not the cheapest, the pricing is fair and I believe the outcome represents tremendous value. Brad and the team remained pro-active beyond works completion and engaged actively in addressing the small amount of trivial snagging. They are now my go to for building works.

I could not recommend Dale Smith. Whilst he did a reasonable job removing the fitted bedroom furniture, he did not fulfil the brief. He did not make good the walls and ceiling to an acceptable standard. It was less than a days work and I was paying him nearly £800. He fitted all the furniture into his van, ready to take to the tip. When I asked him to return to complete the job, he replied that if I didn’t pay him he would return and leave all the fitted furniture on my door step. I paid him £700 but then had to employ another tradesperson to fill the holes left in the walls and ceiling, so that I could have the room painted.

Henry arrived for a quote and listened to want I wanted and gave good advise as to how to achieve it, to the extent of screening plants suitability that no other tradesman had mentioned. Henry and the team arrived promptly each day, were always courteous and professional. Henry would require my input at every stage taking the time to ensure I was happy and answering all questions. Work completed as discussed, in the said timeframe and for the agreed price. At the completion of the job Henry would not leave until I had inspected the entire patio and that I was happy with the tidying up of the entire garden. I will be contacting them again for a quote for any future work. They did a great job, very happy with the process and finished result. Thank you to your hard working team.
