Hired for several jobs including aluminium door installation, banister replacement & kitchen cornice fitting. The cornice was completed satisfactorily hence 2* but after disappointing work on the doors, the contract ended before staircase work begun. Tools and materials were repeatedly dropped, resulting in dents to flooring, damage to a chair and damaged cornice which was later patched with glue. The aluminium door installation was left unfinished and poorly fitted, with the doors no longer properly engaging or locking despite being checked as working correctly beforehand. This was a large door set with sidelights that required 2 people to fit safely, however the work was carried out by 1 despite me offering to assist to prevent warping. Packers & foam were left visible, plaster & brickwork were damaged and I was then asked for extra money to repair. Communication was difficult throughout and I was dismissed when raising any concerns or even requests such as toeing and heeling

Quick, professional, and did exactly what was needed. The handyman fixed the door hinge efficiently and made sure everything was properly aligned and secure. Communication was clear, arrived on time, and left the area tidy after the job. You can tell they know what they’re doing no unnecessary upselling, just a straightforward fix done well. Pricing was fair for the quality of work. Would definitely use again for small repairs around the house.

Hiring Joe was a fantatsic decision. He's done a phenominal job on replacing around 60sqm of millboard, which is a specialist product and not easy to lay. Replaced a lot of an old decking frame first. First rate work, professionalism, clean, punctual, polite - just about the best tradesperson I've dealt with.
