Carpentry and joinery works. 1st and 2nd fix. Bespoke cupboards and wardrobes. Kitchens, doors, skirting, window sills etc. I’m new to this platform and I don’t have reviews because I’m finding work outside of MyBuilder. So don’t be afraid to give me a shout. After our original kitchen fitter showed up and said he couldn't fit our kitchen, we were very lucky to find Georgi who helped us out of a tight spot. He had high attention to detail, was very thorough and kept us up to date on where he was at and any issues encountered. He always arrived on time and left things clean and tidy. The kitchen looks great and we can't recommend him enough!

He was very helpful and straightforward from the first quote visit and answered my questions clearly at that meeting and while conducting the job. I run a small carpentry and furniture manufacturing business in central London, specialising in built in cabinetry and kitchens. I have worked on set building for most of my career, on high fashion photoshoots and television. This has given me the skills and knowledge required to competently find solutions to problems. Having my own workshop means that I can cause minimal disruption in your home, producing everything in the workshop and only being on site for the fitting!

Ciaran presented himself very well, his website looked very professional, he came prepared with sketches and invoices. Please be advised, he is a young carpenter with very little experience which became evident half way through the project. I had to raise it with Trading Standards. His quote for the job was extremely high (over £1700 for 2 shelves and a folding door), but as I was promised a great looking finish, I decided to go ahead and book him. Half way through the install I started noticing all the issues around the design and build of the items: dimensions were wrong, materials chosen were wrong, there were nails coming through, the wooden panels were wonky and warped, chipped and broken, he forgot the wardrobe door will need a frame, which caused a delay to the project, etc. Ciaran came across as a dishonest trader: he refused to provide me with receipts for materials bought and, on some occasions, charged 6 times more than it costs online. He left the job unfinished and refused to issue a refund for all the mistakes made. Ciaran argued his workmanship is great and offered a tiny refund of a couple of hundred pounds as a goodwill gesture denying any liability for the poorly executed items or services or overcharged material costs. He offered to fix some items FOC however because of the poor workmanship experienced, as well as how stressful this was, I refused all free of charge offers.
