David is an excellent chap personally and professionally. He works diligently and clear experience on show, with a calm speed that comes from obvious years of practice. Before writing this review we employed David again, immediately after the shortlisted job, and plan to book him a third time, shortly, depending on his own diary. As he is busy, which is, always a good sign. Mybuilder can be a market place for all sorts (literally) both as customers or contractors I imagine, but occasionally you find that little strand of gold buried in the hay. Also this is his first review on Mybuilder in 18 months if you notice. So we were very lucky to find him.

Conversions - General- 25 Nov 2019
Unreliable and ultimately completely let down by this builder. Very responsive during quote stage but when agreed start date approached no contact, upon chasing he advised of a weeks delay. Again no contact from builder and despite confining another start date and time no start or contact from builder. Having again agreed a third date, on the morning they were due to start we received an email cancelling agreement in totality. For the sake of completeness the specification of the job did change from that first posted but up until the time came to actually start he remained keen to undertake the work.

Gengi did a great job on the new extension roof. The timberwork was completed to the highest standard and worked with the building inspector's expectations. He was knowledgeable and talked me through the various options and the pros and cons of each. He was on time, professional, hard-working, and exacting. I'm really pleased with the final result. Keaton turned up to quote the work on time and got back to me the next day with the price, I excepted and Keaton started work within a couple of days, on the day Keaton was here on time and started work Keaton is very polite very professional and cleaned up, the five oak doors and the oak front door look absolutely amazing if you are looking for a professional carpenter you need Keaton.

I would highly recommend hiring Grant for building and carpentry work. He was able to provide a competitive quote for the work compared to other tradesmen and provided a quick response to my queries. Very prompt and efficient and able to fit the job in at short notice, providing a good quality service. The majority of the work was completed in 1 day, causing minimum disruption. I will definitely bear Grant in mind for any future building works that need completing in my home.

I have 4 years experience in carpentry and I’m able to do general handyman work like repairing or fitting skirting and architrave, hanging doors, fencing, furniture, wardrobes and kitchen fitting. I also have a couple years experience in landscaping and can offer general garden maintenance, repairing or installing fencing, jetwashing and repairing/ correcting paving ect. I’m based around the Sevenoaks area but can travel to surrounding areas.

The task was to secure a swing set on newly installed, expensive artificial grass. Connor assured me he had extensive experience with similar projects, which gave me confidence in his abilities. Upon arrival, he attempted the installation, but in doing so, cut the turf in multiple places and dug deep holes, causing significant damage. He then informed us that the soil was unsuitable and suggested using smaller anchors instead. Following his advice, we ordered the recommended anchors and arranged for his return in a few days to complete the installation. After the new anchors were delivered, I notified Connor, but he never showed up. I followed up but he ignored my texts/calls as a result, we were left with damaged turf requiring costly repairs, an unusable swing set, and a disappointed child. We had to hire another handyman to finish the job, incurring additional costs (totalling more than the cost of the swing set) Due to Connor's unprofessionalism, I cannot recommend his services.
