Toby is an exceptionally honest and reliable carpenter. He installed four fire doors and frames for us, complete with intumescent seals and door closers, and carried out the work to a very high standard. Throughout the project, he kept us fully informed, providing updates and photos at each stage to ensure we were happy with the progress. He also painted the doors and left the entire area clean and tidy once the job was completed. I would confidently recommend Toby to anyone seeking a trustworthy, skilled, and sincere professional for carpentry work. He is not only excellent at what he does but also a genuinely good person to know even after the work is done.

Very polite professional man. 2 doors fitted well, but one door has not been planed down enough and is impossible to close in the frame. I contacted Jamie immediately (he was also booked in to complete a further small job a few days afterwards) however he still has not replied to any of my (many) messages.

Luke and the team were polite and helpful but unfortunately not qualified to undertake laying the drainage pipe, they required extensive supervision to ensure the work was undertaken correctly. The quality of workmanship appeared good at first but within days the slabs were rocking and it was clear that insufficient stone, compaction and concrete under the slabs was the problem. Luke communicated stating that the problems would be resolved but the issues still remain an issue over 12 months later with many promised visit but with no attendance.

Michael contacted me after my post on my builder. He came to my house and we discussed my requirements which was a loft hatch with ladders. I was shown what he would install and he emailed me a quote some hours after. We arranged a date, he arrived on time and completed the installation the same day. Dust sheets were used throughout and my old wood etc was taken away without me asking. I received an invoice which is unusual for most tradesmen. All in all I’m extremely pleased with everything and would recommend and use Michael again.

Leigh and the G&B team were flawless from start to finish. From coming round to quote the job, to keeping me updated on when job will start and it’s progress, to the completion. Very informative and professional throughout, couldn’t be happier to have brand new decking, particularly, as the finish is of the highest quality. Even managed to include some work on the fence which became weak from removing the old decking. Very helpful and made sure we were happy with the work before finishing.
