I had not long had a brand new kitchen fitted and after day one of work being carried out by winstanley carpentry I was left with a 5 week old glass induction hob scratched to hell and some deep scratches which could be felt with my finger. I sent a reasonable message explaining the damaged caused and asked how he was going to compensate me. He called the next morning claiming he hadn’t caused the damage and said that there was a bad taste now and dropped my materials off and walked off the job. He initially agreed to compensate me £100 which was nowhere near enough. He then didn’t pay the compensation and when I chased him for the compensation and asked for a receipt for materials he refused both due to him having to wait for the parts of paid for to be picked up. I’ve paid £1380 for the fitting of 3 door frames and left with no doors downstairs and the job incomplete and with a £300 hob ruined. But in his words “Customers like you” do not use his services.

Clive responded swiftly, visited quickly and weighed up the job expertly. Time was really tight due to new flooring going down and decorators arriving immediately after he had finished. Clive timed his work perfectly and worked around the other jobs. We arrived home to find the new skirting on and all our doors cut to fit the new flooring and hung excellently. We couldn't praise Clive's calm approach too highly. He was knowledgeable about the other work going on around his jobs and therefore ensured that everything was done so as to make the other people's work as easy as possible. He worked well and left our home clean, with the job done every bit as well as we hoped. We highly recommend him.

I'm very pleased with the job Jeff did for me. He fitted a top mounted sliding door but it needed the doorway to be narrowed to fit the door. he did a great job. all tidy and neat finish. He was quick and efficient he cleaned up and took all the rubbish and old door. highly recommended. thank you Jeff.

The shelf was fitted and made with a rounded edge as requested so no shape edges with a perfect finish to match the existing wood in the room.
