  We hired Arek to fit our internal doors and we are very pleased with the results. Whilst doing the fitting Arek gave explanations regarding what he was doing and why. When the job was finished any mess made was cleaned up and the old doors were removed and disposed of which saved us the hassle if doing it ourselves which was great. I would definitely hire him again for any future jobs and I would also recommend him to any friends and family.

  At the start I found vasil friendly knowledgable and keen to get the job. He Quoted the whole job would take 4 days fand was the cheapest quote received but didn't finish on fourth day as expected. Stated he will be back on Wednesday but failed turn up and said later on he had To go work and would be over Saturday. Turned up Saturday with friend to complete the job. When he said he had finished I Went over the job and pointed out errors such as door hinges missing screws which he responded screws are rubbish instead of asking for new screws he was happy leaving a number of doors hanging with 1 screw on each hinge. Three of the six door stoppers were not pinned in level so the door either kicked out at the bottom of forward. Instead of just doing the adjustments he decided to argue saying I was looking for an excuse not To pay him. Refused leave my house until I paid him and was shouting so I called the police and he left prior to them arriving. Prior to starting He had never mentioned he wanted payment on daily rate until he finished first day work which I didn't like but agreed as his work was good. In summary His work is very good and I would prefer him to have completed the work and do adjustments but he attitude of someone making errors to avoid being paid is wrong. Made a little mess but cleaned up most of it. Would say use him if you can agree with payment terms and snagging on a daily basis.

  This was the worst experience of my life, this man is a nightmare so PLEASE do never allow this person to enter your house!!! They do not speak English (maybe some of them are illegal here), which made things much more complicated for me... the promise was to finish the work in 2 weeks and after 7 weeks they started asking for more money without finishing the work... I refused to pay all he was asking for and Youcef was insulting (calling the worst names someone can imagine) and threatening me inside my property... saying that he wouldn't give me my keys back if didn't pay him around £4,300 for things that I didn't even know he was charging me for... saying that he would break things in my place etc... so I had to call the police and they kicked him out. Before living, Youcef ON PURPOSE damaged my property everywhere he could..., cutting cables to leave me without electricity, damaging the floor heater in the kitchen, the light panel in the living room, etc... I reported him to the police! Please do not trust these people.

  I normally don’t like writing bad reviews as I know how it may affect a trade persons source of income. But in this instance it is necessary! The kitchen was done to good standard after a long hassle of going back and forward with him about the kitchen arrangements. It was designed and delivered by B & Q. And him being a builder he should have made his way around the problems which I think he could’ve approached in a better manner. The skirting was done to an awful and inexperienced level. He had screwed them in with many holes being left on the skirtings. Which destroyed the appearance of them. When asked if we would fill the holes and use decorators chalk/silicone for the gap at top of the skirting and the wall he replied with ‘that ain’t my job’ which I think is a awful attitude to work. Furthermore, we had paid him accordingly to the work he completed per day so it was fair and by the end of the week he would have been paid in full. But he insisted on being paid earlier than schedule and then threatened me on several occasions he will rip out or break the kitchen with a hammer. So I was forced to pay. He didn’t turn up a few days with the excuse he was too busy to come and complete the kitchen. But I was more concerned about him taking majority of the money and the work being heavily pending. I felt intimidated by him and his attitude to work needs fixing. So if you as a consumer wish to take him on as a builder be prepared!
