Micheal did a fantastic job fitting our skirting boards and architrave. He was very professional and had a high skill level making sure they were flush and neat. Our walls are fairly wonky but he worked hard to mitigate this and we're very happy with the result. He was on time, quoted very reasonably, had good communication and left the place tidy. Would recommend

GP Construction have proved to be an excellent choice. Gary Pennell is highly skilled and multi talented in carpentry building plumbing tiling and probably much more He brought in a very good plasterer and electrician and the new en-suite bathroom is now almost finished and looking good. We would highly recommend Dave who was excellent, he fitted a wardrobe into a downstairs "play room" and it looks great, it fits into the room so well it is like it has always been there. Dave was brilliant at sitting down with both myself and my wife on multiple times to understand what we wanted and provided us with alternative options ensuring we got the best possible results. Dave is a really nice guy and simplifies the whole process, we have another wardrobe to be built in a bedroom (with very high ceilings) and we will have no hesitation in using Dave again. Very good experience.

The cladding was due to start yesterday, Monday 6th of September. In the weekend, I was told they would come do a site visit on Monday instead of starting the job. They came on site yesterday morning and nothing was said about any issues. They said they would start the next day, Tuesday. I got a call at the end of the afternoon (around 5 pm) yesterday to be told suddenly that there are many problems; not levelled portions of frame (which can be easily rectified), no toilet on site (which they knew about - they knew also that the public toilet is only 50 m away), access problems which they also knew about ect... Suddenly a multitude of problems arised! They wanted more money. It is very obvious that they found another job somewhere. I would classify this sort of behaviour simply as not honest. Also expensive- I was quoted £4000 to clad a tiny first-floor(38 m2) . The overall cladding would be 75 m2 in total. Disappointing.
